Senior Android Developer

Join PT DANS MULTI PRO as a Senior Android Developer to build high-performance, scalable mobile applications in Jakarta Selatan. We are looking for an experienced engineer to lead our Android development initiatives using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

Your expertise will be vital in navigating the full development life cycle, from initial design to final distribution via Android Play feature delivery. We expect you to leverage your deep knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and various database systems to integrate third-party libraries and enhance overall application functionality. This contract position is designed for a technical leader with at least five years of experience who stays updated with the latest mobile trends and best practices. Job Description

• Design, build, and improve highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant Android/iOS applications using Java & Kotlin.
• Ensure the performance, quality, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Create compelling mobile device-specific user interfaces and experiences that adhere to design guidelines and best practices.
• Remain up-to-date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding mobile apps.
• Solid understanding of the full android development life cycle
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development and Kotlin&Java ecosystem.
• Possess a solid understanding of the full Android development life cycle.
• Utilize and integrate third-party libraries and APIs to enhance application functionality
• Demonstrate proficiency in using code versioning tools, such as Git, for efficient code management and collaboration.
• Work with cloud message APIs and implement push notifications to improve user engagement.
• Ensure familiarity with Android Play feature delivery for seamless application distribution and updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related major from reputable university
• Having min 5 years experience in: Java and Kotlin (Android Developer), object-oriented design and service-oriented architecture.
• Having experience in developing and testing apps on Android.
• Having experience in Jetpack Compose
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Android Framework, SQLite, MySQL database or other database
